Waggy Trails Dog Walking Services is a professional dog walking company offering group and solo walks as well as home boarding and small animal check-ins. As a data controller we operate under the company name Waggy Trails Dog Walking Services.
We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office as a data controller and our registration number is ZB388097.

What type of information we collect about you

· Identity Data –including your name and information about your animal such as name, vaccination record, vet’s practice, behaviour/likes/dislikes, age/breed/colour etc.
· Contact Data - including your billing address, email address and telephone numbers.
· Transaction Data -including details about payments to and from you and other details of products and services you have purchased from us.
· Technical Data including internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access our website.
· Usage Data - includes information about how you use our website, products and services. Marketing and Communications Data, including your preferences in receiving marketing from us and your communication preferences.

· When you sign a contract to have your animal walked, home boarded or use our check-in service.

The legal basis we rely on for collecting data

As a Dog Walking company, the processing of personal data is necessary in order for us to pursue our legitimate interests. In specific situations, we require your data to pursue our legitimate interests in a way which might reasonably be expected as part of running our business and which does not materially impact your rights, freedom or interests.

What we do with the information we gather
We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service and, in particular, for the following reasons:

· To enable us to contact your Emergency Contact, Vet Practices or our Insurance Company should your animal have an accident or become ill/injured whilst in our care.
· To enable us to look after your animal and provide it with the correct food and care whilst being walked or being looked after by us.
On occasions we may disclose your personal information to third parties:
· If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our Terms and Conditions; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of staff, customers or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
· We may also need to share some your personal information with other parties, such as external contractors. Usually, information will be anonymised but this may not always be possible. The recipient of the information will be bound by confidentiality obligations. We may also be required to share some personal information as required to comply with the law.
· We will use your personal data, with your permission, to provide to third parties who you may be interested in hearing from. We will always ensure we have your permission to do this before we share.

Waggy Trails DWS may be entitled to refuse any request in certain circumstances and where this is the case, you will be notified accordingly.
